Senseco Maintenance Special Newsletter April 2018

Senseco Service and Maintenance

Service and Maintenance is the cornerstone of Senseco Systems Limited and we continue to invest in this important part of our business.  We have recently employed more engineers and more office staff, as well as introducing new processes and technology to enhance our service delivery for all of our clients.  All engineers use iPads with worksheets being transmitted electronically so there is no delay in you receiving them.  We are also developing a client portal to allow you to securely log in to view all service documentation and worksheets specific to your site.  We service a wide variety of systems and will take on almost any system regardless of age, make or whether it is open or closed protocol, clearly stating any limitations of support with closed protocol systems.  And remember, all of our service contracts are Carbon Neutral Service Contracts, helping you with your sustainability targets.

Business Development Managers –
New Maintenance

For any new maintenance enquiries please contact Amelia Heather or Cecil
Esson, our very experienced Business Development Managers. They will arrange
site surveys or work from asset lists provided to produce a maintenance
proposal, compliant to the standards, but tailored to your needs. They can
discuss our service offering, the options available to you and the many benefits
our Carbon Neutral Service Contracts provide. E-mail them at
amelia.heather@sensecosystems.com or cecil.esson@sensecosystems.com or call the office on 0845 644 2888.

Service Operation Managers – Existing Contracts

One of the many benefits our maintenance clients receive is access to our Service Operations Managers.  It is their role to visit all of our maintenance clients setting up a meeting schedule to suit you, whether it is after each service visit, monthly or at other agreed intervals.  They will gather feedback on our service delivery, discuss any actions and remedials following a service, provide latest advice and guidance and discuss your needs. They are also there to ensure any issues are dealt with swiftly and effectively.  Our closeness to our clients and accessibility to service managers is one of the many ways we work in partnership with our clients, keeping you compliant and your systems working in peak condition.

Somerset House

Somerset House is a heritage property dating back to 1547 in the heart of London. Although it is well known for it’s outdoor skating rink at Christmas and open air concerts in the summer, it has many other uses and accommodates many other tenants. It hosts the UK’s largest creative community working globally across art, technology, business and social enterprise.

The South Wing of Somerset House had a mix of hard wired fire detection system, an obsolete radio / wireless fire detection system and many aspiration systems, most no longeroperational. The project was to replace all of the systems in the South Wing with a single fire detection system for all areas and provide graphical representation of this wing and two other wings with legacy systems on a single graphics platform.

This was all to be carried out within a listed building with mixed use and different tenants with minimal disruption to day to day operations.

Castle Mall

Located in the centre of Norwich City, Castle Mall shopping centre comprises of 60 stores and food outlets, across five levels of retail and leisure, including an 8-screen Vue cinema. The centre also boasts a 790 space multi-storey car park.

The fire detection and alarm system installed in the shopping centre was a Honeywell FC90 system, which was closed protocol and had reached the end of its working life. A replacement system was therefore needed to provide a modern supportable system for the shopping centre.

This is a working shopping centre so minimal disruption to the operation of the shopping centre, retailers and shoppers was of paramount importance.
