To comply with latest legislation and standards, you must use competent companies. Third party certification proves this competence.
Here at Senseco Systems our work is backed up by a raft of accreditations, approvals and certification, which prove we’re the best company for the job.
And here’s an explanation of the logos we proudly display on our letterheads:
LPS1014 Certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), LPS1014 is an end to end third-party accreditation process. It covers design, installation, commissioning and servicing of fire detection and alarm systems and is the highest certification a fire systems firm can achieve.
BAFE SP201 Fire Detection and Alarm Systems. This certification shows we’re competent to design, install, commission and maintain fire detection and alarm systems. (We recently changed our SP203 part 1 certification to SP201 which cross references LPS1014).
BAFE SP203 Part 3 Fixed Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems. We’re one of only a handful of companies to be approved in this modular scheme, demonstrating our ability to design, install, commission and maintain gas extinguishing systems, an area that requires detailed specialist knowledge.
British Standards Kitemark We have been awarded the BSI Kitemark for fire alarm systems in recognition of our achievements in this field. The award follows our successful assessments under the BAFE SP203 Part 1 modular scheme.
Fire Industry Association (FIA) We’re members of the FIA – the industry body for manufacturers, and service providers within the fire industry. We’re actively involved with the association, which means we keep up-to-date with latest legislation and standards, and attend training sessions.
ISO 9001 We hold ISO 9001 through the British Standards Institute to ensure we have quality procedures within our business. It also shows that we work in a professional, consistent and quality environment that is able to be audited.
Carbon Neutral We’re proud to be the UK’s first CarbonNeutral-certified fire and security company. This commercially responsible ethos is an integral part of our business strategy. We’re constantly working to reduce our carbon footprint by eco-friendly initiatives and offset what we have used.
ISO 14001: Environmental Management This accreditation is an internationally recognised certification. It acknowledges our environmental management systems and further shows our commitment to the environment. This goes hand in hand with our CarbonNeutral certification.
Apprenticeships Our support for apprenticeship schemes helps to address the skills gap in the fire and security industry, and also supports local communities by encouraging young talent. We have many employees in our company who have come through our apprenticeship scheme and we welcome a new intake each year.
Constructionline is a Government-run scheme that proves the competence of companies in the construction industry. In order to achieve this accreditation our company structure, procedures, quality systems, and health and safety were all taken in account and we had to submit references and case studies.
SafeContractor This certification shows our health and safety policies, procedures and documentation, have been audited and passed by qualified auditors to industry recognised standards. We have robust health and safety policies and this approach flows through to all areas of our working practices.
RISQS (Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) is an independent accreditation, which assesses our company structure, our procedures, quality systems, and health and safety. It’s also a specific competence approval against all the work we undertake for fire and security-related systems.
CHAS This covers Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality Management, Equal Opportunities and Diversity, Financial and Business Standards. We have demonstrated compliance in line with SSIP Core Criteria and UK H&S Legislation to the requirements of the CDM Regulations 2015, additionally PAS 91.
