Our design and development team will work closely with you to provide an unbiased solution that focuses on your requirements. It could be a highly technical solution using an advanced product or a low cost option to match your budget.Senseco Systems is an independently company and isn’t tied to any product manufacturers, so you can rest assured that you’ll receive the right advice and product guidance when selecting fire or security systems. We work with a range of different manufacturers, so anything we recommend can be supported by a choice of companies, and you won’t be tied in.

We have many years’ experience, as well as practical site and system knowledge, which is why you can rely on us to give you advice when replacing or specifying a new system.

Within our group we have our LPS1014 approval for fire detection and alarm, LPS1204 for gas suppression, LPS1014 for Sprinklers, BM Trada for passive fire, NSI NACOSS Gold for electronic security systems, which means we have the relevant qualifications required to design, install, commission and maintain systems. Plus, we’ve had extensive industry and manufacturer training across a wide range of fire, passive, sprinkler, suppression, security, voice, monitoring and integrated systems.

We have an in-house CAD (computer-aided design) team available to work with you and our projects team to support the designs with CAD drawings and full documentation.

Our design and compliance team are experienced at working with approval organisations to carry out site compliance audits and are qualified to give advice on standards compliance.

We work with an independent Fire Risk Assessment team to give independent advice.

We also give seminars and CPD-approved presentations on a wide range of industry topics, from the latest British Standards to innovations in the fire and security industry. We aim to stay at the forefront of our industry, so we can give you the very best advice at all times.

Somerset House

Somerset House is a heritage property dating back to 1547 in the heart of London. Although it is well known for it’s outdoor skating rink at Christmas and open air concerts in the summer, it has many other uses and accommodates many other tenants. It hosts the UK’s largest creative community working globally across art, technology, business and social enterprise.

The South Wing of Somerset House had a mix of hard wired fire detection system, an obsolete radio / wireless fire detection system and many aspiration systems, most no longeroperational. The project was to replace all of the systems in the South Wing with a single fire detection system for all areas and provide graphical representation of this wing and two other wings with legacy systems on a single graphics platform.

This was all to be carried out within a listed building with mixed use and different tenants with minimal disruption to day to day operations.

Castle Mall

Located in the centre of Norwich City, Castle Mall shopping centre comprises of 60 stores and food outlets, across five levels of retail and leisure, including an 8-screen Vue cinema. The centre also boasts a 790 space multi-storey car park.

The fire detection and alarm system installed in the shopping centre was a Honeywell FC90 system, which was closed protocol and had reached the end of its working life. A replacement system was therefore needed to provide a modern supportable system for the shopping centre.

This is a working shopping centre so minimal disruption to the operation of the shopping centre, retailers and shoppers was of paramount importance.

Uniper Enfield

Uniper’s portfolio combines large-scale power generation and management of energy supply chains. Uniper’s former parent company was E.ON, who now focus on the new energy world.

Uniper Power Station in Enfield had fire, suppression and voice alarm systems that had reached the end of their serviceable life.  They needed modern control equipment which would combine controls for different extinguishing systems into a centralised control station.  The extinguishing systems themselves also needed replacing or updating.

Senseco were chosen to provide a bespoke solution providing controls and upgrades for gas extinguishing, water mist and deluge systems along with a replacement voice alarm rack.  Our power station expertise and ability to provide flexible, custom built solutions to meet Uniper’s needs were key to the project.
