The system is based around a control panel with battery back-up, and features addressable, self-contained luminaires and signage connected via extra-low voltage cabling.
The advantages of FIREscape® include reduced running costs, lower carbon emissions, and self-testing. A FIREscape® exit sign luminaire consumes less than 0.5W. A similar 8W fluorescent light exit sign luminaire will consume about 12W. When compared to 230V LED lights, FIREscape® products save more than 50% of energy.
The lower energy consumption directly relates to lower CO2 emissions. For example, if you replaced 100 230V fluorescent exit luminaires with FIREscape® LED-based exit lights you would reduce your CO2 emissions by 2,100kg every year.
The next generation of FIREscape® is FIREscape+®, which integrates emergency lights on the same loop as fire detection devices. This is ideal for many premises because it combines fire alarm and emergency lighting in one system.
FIREscape+® has the intelligence to switch on emergency lighting in the event of fire being detected to light the way for a clear escape and exit to a place of safety.
It offers you exceptional flexibility, while further reducing your costs and your carbon footprint.
