False alarms
False alarms in any environment are disruptive, costly and can lead to complacency in the event of a genuine fire. Our advice can help to reduce incidence of false alarms. And our False Alarm Immune TecHnology (FAITH) system guarantees against false alarms, proven in student accommodation.
Safe evacuation
It is essential to have safe evacuation systems in place. Not all systems meet the required standards for operation of fire doors and safe escape routes protected from fire. We provide compliant fire systems to meet BS7273-4 the standard for fire protection measures, providing release mechanisms for doors. We also provide intelligent emergency lighting, smoke detection, sprinkler and water mist solutions. All ensuring safe evacuation in the event of a fire.
Campus Wide System Visibility
It is important to have visibility of fire systems across multiple buildings on site. Our graphics packages connect to different systems in different buildings, monitoring everything in a consistent format with networked systems that comply with the latest EN54 standards. We also provide fire event notifications to selected contacts.
Compliance and competence
Employers and building owners are legally responsible for fire safety and risk assessments, and must use certified, accredited companies to install and maintain fire systems. We are LPS1014 certificated to design, install and maintain fire systems. Our sprinkler division are LPS1048 certificated, and our gas suppression division are certified to LPS1204. All our systems are compliant with the latest British and European Standards.
Maintenance
It is important that any maintenance regime fully tests systems installed with minimal disruption. We are highly experienced in maintaining large sites and accommodation sites either on a periodic, weekly or manned site basis. We can visit during term breaks to minimise disruption. As an independent provider, we support a wide range of systems, old and new, and provide detailed service records for your compliance and reassurance.
