To comply with latest legislation and standards, you must use competent companies. Third party certification proves this competence.
Here at Senseco Systems our work is backed up by a raft of accreditations, approvals and certification, which prove we’re the best company for the job.
And here’s an explanation of the logos we proudly display on our letterheads:
Certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), LPS1014 is an end-to-end third party accreditation process. It covers design, installation, commissioning and servicing of fire detection and alarm systems.
This is considered to be the highest accreditation a fire company can achieve. The LPCB is the leading international certification body in the fields of fire and security protection. Its endorsement is recognised by governments and regulatory authorities across the world.
BAFE SP203 Part 1
Modular scheme: design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems
We’re pleased to be approved in all sections of this modular scheme, which shows we’re competent in all elements of fire detection and alarm work.
Our certified activities are: design; installation; commissioning/handover; maintenance; and verification of fire detection and fire alarm systems to SP203-1 and BS 5839-1.
BAFE SP203 Part 3
Modular scheme: design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fixed gaseous fire suppression systems
We’re one of only a handful of companies to be approved in all parts of this modular scheme, demonstrating our ability in all gas extinguishing work, an area that requires detailed specialist knowledge.
Our certified activities are: design; installation; commissioning/handover; maintenance; and verification of gaseous suppression systems to SP203-3 and BS 6266; BS 5839-1; BS 7273-1; BS 7273-2; BS 5306-4; and BS EN 15004-1-2-3-4-5-7-8-9-10.
British Standards Kitemark
We’ve been awarded the BSI Kitemark for fire alarm systems in recognition of our achievements and competence in this field. The award follows our successful assessments under the BAFE SP203 modular scheme.
Fire Industry Association (FIA)
We’re members of the FIA, which is the industry body for manufacturers, service providers and other interested parties in the fire industry.
We’re actively involved with the association, which means we keep up-to-date with latest legislation and standards, and attend training sessions.
We hold ISO 9001 through the British Standards Institute to ensure we have quality procedures within our business. It also shows that we work in a professional, consistent and quality environment that is able to be audited.
We’re proud to be the UK’s first (and currently only) CarbonNeutral-certified fire and security company. This commercially responsible ethos is an integral part of our business strategy. We’re constantly working to reduce our carbon footprint by various eco-friendly initiatives. We’ve achieved the impressive milestone of being CarbonNeutral-certified with the support of our carbon offsetting partner and investment in numerous projects across the world.
This accreditation, which we achieved through BSI, is an internationally recognised certification. It acknowledges our environmental management systems and further shows our commitment to the environment. This goes hand in hand with our CarbonNeutral certification.
Our support for apprenticeship schemes helps to address the skills gap in the fire and security industry, and also supports local communities by encouraging young talent. We have many employees in our company who have come through our apprenticeship scheme and we welcome a new intake each year.
This is a Government-run scheme that proves the competence of companies in the construction industry.
To achieve the accreditation, our company structure, procedures, quality systems, and health and safety were all taken in account.
The endorsement is also a specific competence approval against the work we undertake, so we were required to submit client references and case studies of jobs completed.
This certification recognises that we’ve reached the SafeContractor health and safety standards.
We have robust health and safety policies and this approach flows through to all areas of our work.
RISQS (Link Up)
RISQS (Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) is an independent accreditation, which again assesses our company structure, procedures, quality systems, and health and safety. It’s also a specific competence approval against the work we undertake.
RISQS is a required certification to work in the rail sector and is also recognised by many other companies.
We’re qualified for fire and security-related systems.
Most of our engineers carry Human Focus cards, a Health and Safety scheme that proves their competence. The system shows they have the training and experience to work more safely and effectively. And it provides our clients with a means to check the level of their training and competence.
